In many countries, the interest in anime has been steadily increasing for some years but is still extremely limited compared to the general population. It has been particularly anime and manga aimed at children who have had success in some countries, and many therefore associate anime with cartoons aimed at children. Especially series with anime characters such as Pokemon, Dragonball Z, Yu-Gi-Oh and Naruto have all been shown on television has helped to strengthen not only the knowledge of Japanese animation, but also the image of the young audience.
